Industrial instrument display solution

1. Display hardware

We offer a variety of software and hardware solutions for you to choose from.

Display panel: LCD/OLED is optional, size from 1.08inch to 2.38inch.

touch screen:

Resistive touch: Low cost, can be operated with any object (wearing gloves, pen tip), strong anti-interference ability. The disadvantage is that the light transmittance is low and the display effect is slightly worse. Suitable for cost sensitive and harsh operating environments.

Capacitive touch: high transparency, clear display effect, supports multi touch (such as gesture zooming). The disadvantage is that it must be operated with conductive objects (fingers, specialized pens), which may be unstable in strong electromagnetic interference environments. It is currently the mainstream choice, especially on HMIs that require exquisite UI.

Surface acoustic wave/infrared touch: mainly used for ultra large sizes or occasions with special requirements for scratch and explosion prevention, with high cost.


2. Drive and Control

Driver board: a "translator" that connects the display panel and the main control board, responsible for converting signals such as LVDS/EDP sent by the main control board into timing signals that the panel can recognize.

Main control board: the "brain" of the solution, running operating systems (such as Linux, Windows IoT), processing data, running applications, and driving the entire display system.


3. Software and Systems

Operating System:

Real time operating systems such as QNX and VxWorks. The characteristics are real-time, high reliability, and high security. Widely used in key fields such as rail transit, aerospace, and power.

Embedded Linux: Open source, flexible, and cost-effective. It is currently the most mainstream OS choice for industrial HMI.

Windows IoT/Windows Embedded: Good compatibility, easy to use familiar development tools (such as Visual Studio), very advantageous for scenarios that require running complex PC software.


4. Communication interface

Used to connect various industrial control equipment, it is the key source of data.

Common interfaces: Ethernet (RJ45), serial port (RS232/RS485/RS422), USB, CAN bus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.
